Rory and I have a well agreed bedtime strategy, especially in Winter. Seeing as he detests any form of money spending on heating, I am granted with the allowance of wearing as many clothes as needed come bedtime. Forget flailing around half-naked, I pile on the layers and so does he. These snowmen pyjama bottoms were a gift from Gap for Christmas and the T-Shirt is a classic American Apparel number - £14 suits the him well.
Since these snowmen PJ's are no longer available from Gap, here are my best bets for a snuggly Christmas away from the snow...
This cute-as-can-be all-in-one from American Apparel is the ticket to understated geek-chic. Just throw in some thick socks and a ruffle of the hair, for a sexy look that will work just as well watching TV with the 'rents as it will come bedtime...well provided your parents resist the urge to poke fun at your 'onesie'.
These Heat-Tech socks from Uniqlo are the best thing since sliced bread for Mr Rory at the minute. Unfortunately, just like the Levi jeans he has failed to wash for the last year, the fact he loves them so much means that soon they will be growing legs and plunging to their death in a warm washing machine by their own accord. Super toasty though...I have stolen them more than once.
Where my boyfriend would resist to wear these simply because he is so stubborn and hates all things mass produced and reeking of perfume, these bottoms from Abercrombie and Fitch are so soft and cosy that if I snipped off the tag I bet they also would never see the washing pile. And come on, that mind blurring Abercrombie smell is so endearingly good I would happily roll around in their stock room on a daily basis. Mmmm.
